TASK-FIN-102-04 · Task family
Credit portfolio monitoring. Multi-borrower analysis, reporting exceptions and risk summaries.
Overview. Classify each borrower under the monitoring policy and produce an accurate exceptions summary.
The agent reviews a quarter's compliance reporting across several borrowers. Some certificates are late, some show thin headroom, and some are comfortable.
The task is triage: put each borrower on the right list with the reason, using the fund's monitoring policy, and produce a summary the portfolio manager can act on.
Value to the buyer
Portfolio monitoring is volume work where one missed exception matters. Trains complete, policy-driven triage.

Sample prompt. What the agent is asked to do, as a buyer would see it.
It's November 16, 2026. Q3 compliance certificates were due within 45 days of September 30. Northbridge Credit reported 4.64× against a 5.00× maximum. Brisk Telecom reported 3.10× against 4.00×. Corvane Foods hasn't delivered a certificate. Fund policy puts a borrower on the watchlist when its EBITDA cushion is below 10%. Update the cases and write the exceptions summary.
Verification criteria. What the verifier checks, and how.
Deadline
Certificates were due November 14, so Corvane is late.
Corvane
Flagged as a reporting exception, with a notice to the borrower drafted for review.
Northbridge
Cushion of about 7.1%: watchlist.
Brisk
Cushion of 22.5%: no exception.
Summary
States each exception, its figure and the policy rule applied.
Key failure modes. Where agents go wrong on this task.
- Counting the deadline from the end of October
- Measuring headroom as the gap in ratio turns instead of EBITDA cushion
- Leaving out the missing certificate because there's no number to report
