Custom buildProcure-to-Pay · Supplier Management · Payment Controls

Overview. What the environment trains, and the work it's built around.

Core competency

Execute multi-party business transactions while preserving procedural and financial controls.

  • Onboarding suppliers with complete, verified documentation
  • Raising purchase orders that respect budgets, contracts and approval limits
  • Resolving two- and three-way match exceptions within tolerance rules
  • Verifying bank-detail changes through an independent channel
  • Handling pressure to bypass controls by escalating, not complying

Built around the work of

Procurement Specialist · AP Analyst · Vendor Manager · Procurement Operations Lead

Simulated systems

  • Procurement portal
  • Supplier registry
  • Purchase-order system
  • Accounts payable
  • Approval workflow

Sample task

An urgent equipment invoice must be processed today. The invoice exceeds the recorded goods receipt, the supplier has recently updated its banking information, and the business requester is asking you to bypass an outstanding approval. Determine the appropriate actions, resolve what can be resolved, and leave the transaction in a compliant final state.

Workflow coverage. What agents do, and what the verifier checks.

  • Workflow

    Supplier onboarding

    Example tasks

Collect and check tax and banking documents, run identity checks and complete approvals.

    What is verified

The supplier is active only if every required document is present and verified.

  • Workflow

    Requisition to PO

    Example tasks

Turn a purchase request into a PO at contract price, within budget and approval limits.

    What is verified

Supplier, items, prices, budget and approver match policy and contract.

  • Workflow

    Invoice matching

    Example tasks

Match invoices to POs and receipts, apply tolerances and place holds.

    What is verified

Only the amount supported by PO and receipt is approved for payment.

  • Workflow

    Exceptions and escalation

    Example tasks

Handle urgent payments, bank changes and requests to bypass an approval.

    What is verified

Controls hold, and every exception is routed to its authorized owner.

Agent tools. What the agent can call.

The agent works through procurement, supplier and AP tools, reads invoices and receipts, and can verify bank changes only through the contact details already on file.

Verification methodology. Checked against state the verifier computes itself.

Document consistency, supplier verification, authorized purchasing and the resulting payable status.

The verifier checks

  1. 01Supplier records are active only when every required document is present and consistent.
  2. 02POs use contracted suppliers and prices, and fit the budget or carry an approved exception.
  3. 03Approved invoice amounts equal the amount supported by PO and receipt, within policy tolerances.
  4. 04Every bank-detail change was verified through an independently sourced contact before use.
  5. 05Every approval came from someone authorized for the amount, and not from the requester.
  6. 06Requests to bypass a control were declined and recorded.
  7. 07Reference solutions and adversarial cases run against the verifier before training use.

Reward

Payment isn't always the right outcome. Blocking a questionable transaction and escalating it through the correct workflow can earn full credit.

Scores zero on

  • Accepting changed bank details without verification
  • Bypassing a required approval
  • Releasing payment on an invoice that doesn't match its PO and receipt
